All works were made with oil crayon on wrapping paper in 1982. The Lime tree is still standing.

The tree trunk bark drawings seemed promising. The adults and teachers appreciated them. It was encouraging that, among other drawings, I got admission with these sheets in the studio of Prof. Anton Lehmden.
Anecdote: Finally, the pine tree with the expressive, reduced colorfulness caused Anton Lehmden to distance himself with the question: “Why did you do that?”
To my hesitant and quiet, “Because I wanted to see what it looked like,” he turned away without a word.
